Terms of use
The short version. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The app is a tool to help you keep your own limits. It is hard to bypass, but you can always switch it off in iOS Settings.
These terms apply to your use of the Undaze iPhone app ("the app"), published by Genovaflow ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Apple's standard licence
The app is licensed to you, not sold. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA) also applies to your use of the app. If these terms and the standard EULA conflict, these terms apply to the extent permitted by the standard EULA and by law.
What the app does, and what it doesn't
The app helps you limit your own phone use. It blocks the apps, categories and websites you choose, using Apple's Screen Time frameworks, and re-applies blocks automatically at every schedule boundary. It requires iOS 17 or later.
- The app is designed to be hard to bypass, not impossible to bypass. iOS always lets you revoke the app's Screen Time access in the Settings app, and while access is revoked, blocks do not apply.
- Blocking depends on iOS and on Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Changes Apple makes to iOS can affect how blocking behaves.
Subscriptions and free trial
Some or all features of the app require a subscription. Two plans are offered:
- Monthly: $7.99 per month.
- Yearly: $39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial.
Prices are in US dollars. The App Store may show the equivalent price in your local currency, and that is the price you will be charged.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Using the app responsibly
You agree to use the app only on devices you own or are allowed to manage, and only in line with Apple's terms and the law. Don't try to reverse engineer, copy or resell the app.
The walking unlock counts steps. It is not a fitness or medical product. Only walk where it is safe to do so, and don't rely on the app for health advice. The Screen Time Reveal is an estimate based on the answers you give, not a measurement.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any block will prevent every way of reaching an app or website.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Genovaflow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
